| For the second
year of our Holiday Extravaganza, the Hartford Area Chamber of
Commerce purchased gift certificates and cards from Hartford
businesses for merchandise, services, or cash value to be given away
at the Christmas in the Park festivities. Winners were selected from
entries made at Holiday Extravaganza boxes located in several local
shops. Some business owners also donated additional gifts as noted
below. Our Chamber is please to distribute the following Christmas gifts. As you can see, there are many Hartford residents who do shop locally, as well as visitors from other communities who also like to shop in Hartford. $1000 gifts purchased from merchants this year - up from $500 of gifts in 2007 |
