The Greater Area Hartford Chamber of Commerce Minutes from 4-10-2007
Meeting called to order by President, Ron Sefcik at 12:00 p.m. Joined
together in Pledge.
Board members present; Ron Sefcik, Richard McDermott, Natalie Rios, Tad
Moody, RoxAnn Isbrecht, Shelia Darling, Kim Sinclair, Pat Vawter.
Absent; Pastor Ron Hansen.
Motion to approve minutes made by Kim Sinclair and Ron seconds ..
passed.
Treasurer's Report
-
Treasurer's Report by Tad Moody, balance as
of 3-19-07 is $2487.17.
-
CD has matured, Tad to handle, funds for
Festival.
-
Motion to pay Hartford Float Committee $125
to Dennis Goss made by Ron and Natalie seconds .. passed.
-
Hartford Scholarship royalty cannot ride the
community float per Blossomtime during the Blossomtime Parade.
-
Concerts in The Park check for $250 (as in
past years) and dues to the State Chamber for $150.

Kim motions to have bills paid as
presented .. passed.
Discussion
-
Graduation is the Sunday of Strawberry
festival this year, so we will have Higher Praise at 1 :00 p.m. only and
encourage congregation to attend graduation services at 2:30 p.m. at the
High School.

Festival meeting is April 17 at 7p.m., City
Hall.

Discussed plaques for major donors for
Strawberry Festival for $250 and up, Kim motions to approve and Natalie
seconds ... passed.
-
Fire Dept. interested in doing water ball
with hoses on main street for fest.
-
Sign on East side of town was hit and run.
Permission granted from police dept. to salvage remaining plaques, they
were not damaged. cac not insured on sign; we are looking into to see if
covered by City's insurance policy, need to reopen after Festival to
discuss.
Meeting adjourned at 12:45 p.m. by President,
Ron Sefcik.
