No July minutes; RoxAnn on vacation.
Treasurer's Report

$7162.61 is CD balance as of August 2008.

Checking acct balance is $4672.85 as of date.

Primarily Strawberry festival bills to be paid in the amount of $4119.38; including the P.O. Box fee, and liability insurance premium for the year in the amount of $608, and Michigan Dept. of Labor and Growth for $20.

Kim motions to pay bills as presented and Pat Vawter seconds ••• passed.
Discussion

Discussed the damage to the sign by the cemetery; it has been repaired.

Ron to follow up of the insurance claim for sign that was damaged last year. Tad to bill for signage this week.

Volleyball tournament totaled $272. CoC to receive half-motion made by Natalie to raise to $300 and donate back to program seconded by Kim ••• passed.

Kim motions to donate $200 to New Freedom Church that played at fest for free and Natalie seconds ••• passed.

Discussed the Kalamazoo Ave. Band.

Discussed Blue Print for Michigan. Chamber would like to invite Yemi to discuss this at one of our meetings.
