Meeting called to order by Sefcik at 12:05
P.M.
Members Present: Ackerman; Darling; Nye; Rios; Rodney-Isbrecht; Sefcik and Vawter;
Members Absent: Moody; Sinclair
Treasurer's Report
Checking acct balance is $3,710.51, this does include the money in CD to be used for Strawberry Festival. The bills for the annual dinner are in and taken care of.
Motion by Vawter, seconded by Rios to pay bills as presented and accept the treasurer’s report.

Discussion
Annual Meeting Update: Sefcik thanked Tammy Ackerman, Shelia Darling and RoxAnn Rodney-Isbrecht for serving another term. Keeler Keg provided dinner at the annual meeting and Personal Touch Cakes provided the cake. Received good feed back and comments, holding the annual meeting in February is less conflicting with holiday activities, the only drawback was the weather. Recommended By-law changes were accepted at the February annual meeting.
Strawberry Festival discussion: Friday, June 13 is shaping up very well. Discussion on charging non-profits for a booth space, decided if vendors are not selling a product for profit they will not be charged, vendors selling for profit will pay the booth space rental fee. Saturday night main stage act needs a travel trailer for changing. Would like to provide the radio ads again this year, the radio station is already committed to Harbor Fest in South Haven on Saturday but can be here Friday night during the kiddies parade. The solicitation letter will go out on Thursday.

house.
Discussion on Postage – mailing costs - 113 member
mailings per/month of $50 - $60 dollars per/mailing, decision to mail
per/quarter instead of each month.

Motion by Sefcik, seconded by Rios to elect Moody for Treasurer. Motion carried
Motion by Rios, seconded by Nye to elect Rodney-Isbrecht for Secretary. Motion carried
Motion by Sefcik, seconded by Vawter to elect Rios for Vice President. Motion carried
Motion by Rios, seconded by Ackerman to elect Sefcik for President. Motion carried
Other Business:
After prom Committee would like to borrow the money box from the Prince/Princess Committee for March 13, 2008
Motion by Sefcik, seconded by Rios to loan the money box to the after prom committee but has to be returned by April 5th

Communications:
Trophies have been ordered for strawberry festival.
Sympathy & flowers sent to Sinclair’s in remembrance of Kim’s mother.
April 5th is picture date for prince and princess and strawberry baby contestants.
Motion by Rios, seconded by Nye to adjourn the meeting at 1:00 P.M.
