seconded by Sefcik to pay bills as presented and accept the Motion carried Other Business – need assistance in delivering of strawberry plaques to winners. Discussion v Shop local campaign kick off today, need help delivering information and boxes. Also need assistance in shopping for the gift certificates. Rios and Ackerman have volunteered to do the shopping. v December 13 is the Lions Club Christmas in the park/chili cook off and lighted parade which will step off at 6:00pm, park activities begin at 5:00pm. v Decoration Day of ELY Park has been scheduled for Saturday November 29 everyone is welcome to come and help. v Blueprints for Michigan Downtowns: kickoff meeting is November 25 @ 11:00am, three people are needed to represent the chamber Pat Vawter form Hair Forum, Peggy Bowen from Richter’s and Nancy Huffman from Huffman’s Furniture and Appliance will represent the chamber members. Google “Blueprint for Michigan downtowns” for additional information. v Nominating committee for officers, Moody is willing to do an additional three years; Sinclair and Nye are also up for renewal of terms. Darling and Ackerman will be the nominating committee; Pastor Tim Nyhuis from the Federated Church would also like to be considered for the board.
