Roll call Present: Minutes read from November 14, 2006-correction-flowers to cost 12.00 each not 10.00. Motion to accept with the changes made by Kim Sinclair and seconded by RoxAnn Isbrecht...passed. Minutes read from December 12, 2006 Annual Dinner/Meeting. Kim motions to accept and RoxAnn seconds...passed. The elections of officers will be tabled until we have a full board. Active officers to remain in position until proper election, need to set terms of service. Treasurer's Report Treasurer's Report from Tad Moody, as of 12/19/06 balance is $2234.74 (+ 3000.00 cd) Dues paid to U.S. Chamber of Commerce for our dues for 2007. Motions to accept made by Kim, seconded by Natalie... passed. Discussion Individual vote required for Community Minded Business Award (ballot received after accompanying dues will determine winner and break tie)- to be awarded to Competent Secretarial Services...Kim-yes, Natalie-yes, Tad-yes, RoxAnn-yes, Rich-yes, Ron abstains. Award added to order through Sinclair Graphic where other 8 have been ordered through. Voting procedures for next year need to be established with ground rules and tie breaker, possible ballots at the Annual Dinner/Meeting discussed. Motion to have the Secretary bonded for $10,000.00, the same as the President and Treasurer, Kim moves to accept and Ron seconds...passed. Ron to talk with Richter Insurance. Surveys were mailed out with President’s Desk and e-mailed, hoping to get more responses, then to layout and analyze results and comments. All signage paid in full-received name change request from Chemical Bank. To add the fact of our membership to U.S. Chamber of Commerce and membership to State Chamber, and Southwest Tourist Guide membership to 2007 tri-folds. Invoicing for membership dues at end of January. Strawberry Festival meeting will be starting in February-check emails for information regarding committees and meeting times and dates. Ron motions to donate $50.00 to S1. Joe Catholic School of Watervliet in memory of Pat Vawter's dad...passed unanimously. Meeting Adjourned Meeting adjourned at 1:15 pm by Ron Sefcik, President.
