Meeting Minutes

Meeting was called to order by Sefcik at Noon
Members Present: Moody; Nyhuis; Rodney-Isbrecht; Sefcik; Yannie
Members Absent: Ackerman; Clark; Vawter;
Pledge of allegiance was said.
Motion by Sefcik, supported by Yannie, to
approve the agenda as presented.

Motion by Nyhuis, supported by Moody, to accept
the June minutes as presented.

Guest:
Katie Lange, Mid-West Family Broadcasting gave a presentation on marketing plan and ads, the Chamber will revisit the information at a latter date.
Treasurer's Report:
Treasurers Report - paid liability insurance in August to avoid late charge also needing to pay annual chamber membership dues. Balance of account is $4,283.65
Motion by Sefcik, supported by Yannie, to pay
bills as presented.

v Need fall signs put up
v Need the chambers web site sign printed and installed, contact Sinclair Graphics to find out where they are in the process.
v Need cleaning up around the signs. Contact Vawter about investigating a quote for landscaping around signs.
v Next meeting discussion on Christmas Extravaganza, Tennis Tournament for Strawberry Festival, a Bicycle Race Tour and Strawberry Committee Meeting Date.

☼ It is with deep sadness that Chamber Board Trustee, Tim Nyhuis, passed away on 11-20-2010. Our Board was so pleased to have Pastor Tim represent the Hartford Federated Church as a Chamber member. He enjoyed working on the Strawberry Festival planning committee, greeting Strawberry Runners with a cold bottle of water, helping to organize the Strawberry Festival Horseshoe Tournament, as well as ensuring that there was a Kiddie's Parade and Strawberry Parade float for the Federated Church. Pastor Tim realized the importance of not only having a church in Hartford, but being part of and ministering to our community - especially to our Hartford youth as Youth Pastor in the earlier years of his ministry.
