Richard “magically” makes his accordion sound like a six to ten piece band, and includes a light show for your enjoyment.  His wide variety of music includes polkas, pop, oldies, and even a little country.  The Magic Accordion Show opened our 2005 concert series and is back by popular demand.

The Misfits
Enjoy musical comedy and dancing.  You will love this chorus of approximately 35 performers, all dressed-up in their personally designed costumes, and directed by Joan Nozicka.  The Misfits have performed over 500 shows during their 12 years performing.  Their 2005 program included patriotic songs, military songs, and songs popular in the 40’s during World War Two.  

Regardless of what their program includes, they always bring smiles and laughter to their audience.

Green Valley Jamboree show that aired on TV for many years.  Bill continues to entertain with his steel and electric guitar.  Jeff Kosobucki, owner of Everybody's Music in Decatur, plays guitar, banjo, piano, mandolin and bass.  Bill and Jeff are known for their musical versatility and we are fortunate to present this professional team for our Concerts in the Park.

Do you enjoy the old favorite barbershop tunes, pop music, show tunes or patriotic music done in 4-part barbershop harmony?  If so, you will love this 37 member chorus directed by Gene Hanover.

The chorus received a tremendous honor in 2004 by representing the Pioneer District in the Small Chorus Contest at the world-renowned and prestigious Buckeye Invitational in Columbus, Ohio.  Returning for their 3rd performance - everyone loves to hear this group perform!

Bootlegg Barbershop Quartet

This quartet includes three brothers and a friend, and has performed together since High School.  They are a very personable group who enjoy interacting with their audience.  If you think of barbershop music as being soft and quiet, just wait until you hear this upbeat quartet!!   This is bootlegg’s second year performing at the Hartford Concerts in the Park series, and everyone wanted them back!

AlpenSound German  BandAlpenSound, under the direction of Bob Schneider, plays only authentic German musik.  There are some very, very unusual players in their band - puppets that play music!

This group loves audience participation and encourages everyone to
get up and dance.  At last year’s performance, rhythm instruments were passed out to the audience.  If you enjoy playing the tambourine, washboard, or shakers along with the band, or just watching the puppets play an instrument, come on out for a great night of fun and musik!

Concerts in the Park - 7:00 p.m. featuring Phil "Snowbird" LeMense Phil "Snowbird" LeMense - The One Man Band

For a number of years, Phil has played private parties, dances, shows and corporate events in venues in Michigan, Arizona and Indiana. Like all snowbirds, Phil knows when it's time to "migrate" to Tucson, Arizona.  He's there from mid November to April.

Playing his Yamaha PSR 2000 keyboard, Phil truly becomes a "one man band," capable of everything from Miller to Mozart.  He  also does some vocals in Spanish and Italian. 

Phil has a repertoire which covers a wide range of standards, Jazz, pop, country and Irish and English pub songs, along with an intriguing selection of European and Latin American Music. 


Join us for an evening that promises musical entertainment you'll enjoy and remember!

A brief ceremony will feature music of the Hartford Indian Emerald Vanguard and leadership of the Hartford Boy Scout Troop 196. 

Everyone is invited to come together as a community and acknowledge this somber anniversary. 
Parents are especially encouraged to bring their children to this event. 
In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held at the High School Auditorium.
