The Paw Paw
River runs along the outskirts of Hartford, about 1 mile north of town.
Fall beauty along the Paw Paw River is breathtaking. Colors change
day-by-day into a rich copper and gold tapestry, with bright red dabs of
color from maple leaves, blended with the white puffy, fall clouds and
blue sky to reflect God's gift to our community. Truly, a awesome
sight to behold. In a matter of a few weeks, the rain and wind
strips the beautiful colors into a dull setting that soon ushers in the
majestic sights of winter.
