5-10-2009 note from Don MacKenzie (HHS 1953):

It was neat to see this old picture. We lost the first 5 games of the season before winning the last 3. I blocked a punt and scored a touchdown against Coloma. We lost 31-6, but won the last three games. We were favored to win the Little 8 the next year, but had a disastrous string of injuries that killed our chances and we didn't win a game in 1952.

Don is 4th from the left in the back row.
