Athletics

        Athletics - a very important part of the community, not just to Hartford schools.  Did you know that Hartford sported a professional baseball team at one time?   A winning State Football team?  A State Basketball team?  State wrestling champion?  A State Baseball Team?  Well, it did!  Let's take a look....

2010 - New concession stand dedication photos (click here for more photos) at the Summer Recreational Program field - ready for the summer season.  This ball field was the old Hartford High School football field until 1960 when the new high school was built.  The field is located at the end of Lincoln Street in Hartford and now used for all of the Hartford summer ball programs.   For schedules and special announcements, visit the Rec Council website at www.hartfordrec.t35.com.
