Frances Fae Simpson Hopkins holding baby   7.  Maria McMillan Duncombe (married to Charles Duncombe and Mother of Charles - Mac - Duncombe).

This store was destroyed by fire in about 1919.  The house to the right of the store still exists, much the same as it was at that time.

Duncombe & Son Groceries and Meats

This was the new store that replaced the first one destroyed by fire in about 1919. 

In 2004, Roger Duncombe (son of Charles Duncombe - #2 in the first photo) stated that he grew up in the home located above the store.
